If you have always dreamed of that beautiful smile and healthier mouth, Dr. Andrew Sami & his team are dedicated to helping you achieve it. We understand not everyone can afford to pay in advance the full amount for high-end cosmetic dentistry or complex treatment plans involving extensive dentistry. Knowing your dentistry financing options can help make your decision much easier about visiting Gold Coast Smiles. We offer many financing solutions to fit any budget and to meet your needs:
Customized In-House Short Term Payment Plans
We realize that many patients that seek our services do not have dental insurance. Those individuals that do have dental insurance typically find that only a small fraction of the cost of their treatment will be covered, leaving the rest of the financial burden up to them. At Gold Coast Smiles we take great pride in being able to customize payment plans for most people.
With the help of our experienced and dedicated business team, we will create a realistic and responsible payment plan that fits within your monthly budget and can be paid down in a few short months interest free. For those patients with dental insurance, we will help you coordinate your dental benefits in an effort to maximize your plan's reimbursement and combine this strategy with a customized payment plan to address the amount not covered by insurance. Our business team members are very well versed and experienced in coming up with creative short term financing options that allow all of our patients to get the work they want now and within their monthly budget.
Long-Term Financing via CareCredit
For our patients looking to spread out their payments over a longer period of time, we have partnered with CareCredit, a healthcare credit card exclusive for healthcare services. CareCredit, North America's leader in patient payment plans, gives you the option to begin the treatment you want immediately. With no up-front costs, no pre-payment penalties, and no annual fees, CareCredit lets you pay over time with low monthly payments that are interest free if paid in full within 12 months (Other plans available). CareCredit offers our patients a long term monthly payment plan for healthcare procedures not commonly covered by insurance, including cosmetic dentistry & more complex procedures such as dental implants, that fits easily into your monthly budget and frees up cash and credit cards for the other things you want or need. Plus, you can use your card again and again to pay for additional treatment for yourself or family members in any CareCredit practice.

Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Many Americans use their health savings accounts (HSAs) to pay for medical expenses, prescription medications, or hearing aids. What many people do not realize is they can also use their HSA to pay towards dental treatment. Looking at the big picture, you can use an HSA to save for health expenses you may experience after you retire. Similar to a Roth IRA, there are rules regarding how you use this money. Many people are finding that having an HSA (health savings account) not only helps keep medical costs lower, but is advantageous at tax-time, too.
For paying for medical bills in the short-term, Americans sometimes opt for flexible spending accounts (FSA). These are like HSAs, but they do have one thing that sets them apart–you need to use it or lose it. If there is money remaining in your FSA by the end of the year, that money is taken away.
Our business team has helped guide many of our patients who have access to these plans to strategically utilize them in lowering their dental treatment costs. While there are restrictions on their use, specifically towards the treatment of cosmetic dentistry, we have often found these plans to be very beneficial for patients who need extensive dental work to rehabilitate their mouths. If you have access to these plans, we can help you combine them with other strategies to help maximize lowering the cost of your investment in your health.
In addition to the above programs, we have developed other payment options that include:
We understand cost is a big concern for most people when it comes to their dental treatment. There are many options that we provide to meet everyone’s lifestyle. When it comes to paying for your dental care, we will always be upfront and transparent and want you to feel comfortable, pressure free and happy with your investment in your health. Call us at 516-676-0250 and come in to discuss your goals with us.
** Aside from the above mentioned Insurance Plans, we are otherwise a Fee for Service Dental practice and considered out of network with all other insurance plans. We are happy to work with insurance companies other than the two listed above and will accept any benefit they apply towards your work as partial payment. Patients are responsible for any remaining difference not covered by their insurance company, however, and payment plan options can be created for that portion of the investment not covered.
